Refund policy

Look, we want you to love your puzzle books. If something's wrong or you're not happy, we'll make it right.

Here's how it works:

📦 Physical Books (30-Day Returns)

Changed your mind? No problem. Return it within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

The Book Must Be:

  • Unused (no solving puzzles then returning them, please)
  • Undamaged (no coffee stains, dog-eared pages, or mysterious markings)
  • In original condition (basically, like you just got it)

Defective or damaged when it arrived? We'll replace it immediately. That's on us.

You Pay Return Shipping: You're responsible for getting it back to us. We recommend tracking it so it doesn't get lost in the void.

How to Return:

  1. Email us at ask@unscreenyourself.com with your order number
  2. We'll send you return instructions
  3. Pack it up securely and ship it back
  4. Send us the tracking number so we can watch for it

Refunds: Once we receive and verify your return, we'll refund your original payment method within 3 business days.

💻 Digital Products (All Sales Final)

Digital puzzles are non-returnable once downloaded. Think of it like buying a movie ticket—once you've watched it, you can't un-watch it.

🚫 What We Can't Accept Back

  • Sale items – Final sale means final sale
  • Gift cards – Can't return those either
  • Books that show signs of use – If you solved half the puzzles, it's yours now

🇪🇺 European Union Customers (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you're in the EU, you get extra protection—a mandatory 14-day cooling-off period. You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, no questions asked.

Physical Books:

  • Return them in original condition (unused, undamaged, original packaging if possible)
  • You pay return shipping unless the item is defective
  • We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the return

Digital Products:

  • Same 14-day right to cancel...BUT it ends the moment you download or stream the content
  • During checkout, you'll explicitly agree to immediate access, which waives your cancellation right
  • If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can still cancel within 14 days

To Cancel: Just email us at ask@unscreenyourself.com with a clear statement that you're canceling. Do it before the 14-day period ends and we'll start processing immediately.

Refunds: We'll reimburse all payments, including standard shipping costs (but not premium shipping if you chose expedited delivery). Return shipping is on you unless the item is defective.
